Overview

natural remedies speed hair growth : Overview :
You want long hair, and you want it now. Unfortunately, nothing happens that quickly. However, there are some natural home remedies that are believed to jump-start hair growth. You can probably step into your kitchen right now and find many of the products that will boost your hair's growth. Better yet, you won't be spending a dime on this treatment.

Licorice

Got any licorice on hand? Grind up the licorice and make it into a paste. Apply the paste to the areas where your hair is thinning. According to Ayurveda-herbal-remedy.com, the licorice will help promote hair growth. It is also recommended that you make a paste out of black pepper seeds and lemon, and apply this to any bald patches on your scalp. Carrot juice and alfalfa juice, which you drink, reportedly encourage hair growth.

Bananas

According to Regrow-hair.org, bananas can restore softness and elasticity to your hair, as well as make your locks shinier and softer. In a nutshell, applying bananas to your hair will make it healthier, and healthier hair grows faster than unhealthy hair. Mix a banana with 2 teaspoons of sour cream and 1 teaspoon of home along with a whipped egg yolk. Put this on your hair and rub into your scalp. Leave the mixture on for about 30 minutes. Rinse out and then proceed with washing your hair with your regular shampoo.

Potatoes

Combine two peeled white potatoes with 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil, 1 teaspoon of honey, one egg yolk and 1 teaspoon of salt. Apply the mixture to your scalp and to the entire length of your hair. Regrow-hair.org suggests wrapping your head in a towel and leaving the potato mixture on your head for thirty minutes. Wash out and rinse using vinegar. Potatoes are excellent for your hair and scalp and can encourage hair growth. Regrow-hair.org recommends that you try this remedy once a week.

Coconut & Lime

Apply a mixture of coconut oil and lime juice to your hair and scalp on a daily basis to encourage hair growth and discourage hair loss. Ayurveda-herbal-remedy.com also recommends putting the juice of green coriander leaves on your hair and scalp to promote hair growth.

Massaging and Supplementing

According to an article by Ernie Mata, scalp shifting can increase circulation and encourages hair growth. Mata recommends using the pads of your fingers to move your scalp in a circular motion and to do this for about five minutes. Consider taking a Biotin supplement, which is one of the B Vitamins. Magnesium is considered hair food, as is Biotin. Ask your physician about taking supplements to encourage hair growth.
