Natural Body Cleansers

Overview

natural body cleansers : Overview :
With all the pollutants in the air, chemicals, coloring, pesticides and additives in food, and impurities in water, the inside of your body needs to be cleansed on a regular basis to perform to its best ability. Also, your skin should be naturally cleansed and purified regularly as well. Regular soap and water will not provide the needed nutrients. Although there are many products on the market that will act as cleansers, you can just as easily make your own.

Function

The main purpose of internal cleansing is to rid the body of toxins stored in our body organs and fatty tissue. These impurities also build up on the walls of the small intestines, which reduces the absorption of nutrients from food. As a result, we have less energy, are more tired and have greater chance of becoming ill. People also find they are able to lose weight by regularly cleansing their bodies of unneeded waste.

Juice Drink

Every morning or evening, depending on your schedule, you can easily cleanse your body with this juice drink. It is helpful for people of all ages. Combine 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon or lime juice (about half of the fruit), 2 tablespoons of unrefined maple syrup and a pinch (or more) of cayenne pepper in a 10-ounce glass of medium-hot spring water.

Master Cleanse

Some people complete a master body cleansing before starting on the once-a-day juice drink. This includes the same ingredients as the juice drink. However, you have a maximum of two quarts a day or 60 ounces. You should have good results after about three to four days. During the cleanse, do not eat food. Whenever you feel hungry, drink some of the lemonade mixture. A couple of hours before you go to bed, drink 1 teaspoon of sea salt and 30 ounces of water as a laxative. By the second or third day, you will begin to release the toxins and need to use the bathroom often. When you stop the cleanse, only eat easily digestible foods for about a week. Do not consume processed sugar or red meat. First eat fruits and vegetables for a couple of days, then nuts, fish and eggs.

Facial Cleanser

Carrots are very high in vitamin A, as well as an excellent source of vitamin C, folic acid and potassium. Honey is mostly made up of sugars such as fructose and glucose, water and small amounts of enzymes, minerals, vitamins and amino acids. Mash 2 to 3 cooked carrots and mix with 4 to 5 tablespoons of honey. When cool, gently apply the mixture to your face. Wait 10 minutes, then rinse with cool water.

Skin Cleanser

Another way to cleanse your skin is by combining one-half cup oatmeal or cornmeal and enough plain yogurt to form a thick paste. Smooth this mixture over your whole face, except for your eyes. Keep on for 15 minutes, then wash off with warm water. Oatmeal softens the skin and has an excellent balance of amino acids, which act as water-binding agents. Oats also improve dry, flaky and itchy skin.
