The yogi will place an object arm's length away from them, making sure it is level with their eyes. While practicing their relaxed breathing, they will stare steadily, without moving, at this object. After a while, they will close their eyes and continue staring at this object with their eyes closed. Their breathing will continue to relax and take them deeper. Throughout the session, they will continue to open their eyes to gaze at the object and then close them again, seeing it in their mind.

Use Mantras

Mantras are words used to create a powerful vibration through the sound of the word. The word does not have to have a specific meaning, for it is the vibration that matters. The mantras are used to attract divine forces as well as help the mind focus, clearing it of any negativity.

Nada Yoga

This technique of yoga meditation helps to intentionally focus the mind by focusing on internal body sounds. The yogi will plug their ears with their thumbs so they can better concentrate and hear the sounds of the body. Initially the sounds will be faint but will grow louder the longer the session continues.
